      What File Types Can You Upload Into Design Huddle

      This article will cover:

      Font Files

      Fonts can be uploaded under the Brand/Asset tab or directly into the Editor. The supported font file types are:

      • .otf
      • .ttf
      • .woff

      Image Files

      Images can be uploaded under the Brand/Asset tab or directly into the Editor. The default size limit for an image is 25MB, however, this can be increased upon request for large format printing. 

      The supported image file types are:

      • .jpg
      • .png
      • .svg
      • .tiff
      • .heic
      • .pdf
      • .webp
      • .gif

      SVGs and PDFs will maintain layers while JPGs, TIFFs, HEIC, and PNGs will remain flat. Please see the SVG Upload Best Practices article for a detailed summary on how to best upload these.

      PDF Files

      You can import PDF files directly into the editor, but this process is distinct from creating a Project based on a PDF. For instructions on creating a Project from a PDF, please refer to the article provided here. PDF files can be used as a container for basic vector graphics like logos or to import a more complex layered design, maintaining specific CMYK/SPOT colors on print designs.

      When uploading a multi-page PDF, only the first page will be accepted by the Editor. Additionally, any text and embedded images within the PDF will not be editable individually; they will be treated as a single element.

      Video and Audio Files

      Design Huddle supports the upload of video or audio files directly into any presentation project or into the Brand/Asset tab to be stored, however, these projects can only be exported as MP4. The default size limit for video is 500MB and audio is 10MB. Both of these can be increased upon request. 

      The supported video file types are:

      • .3g2
      • .3gp
      • .asf
      • .avi
      • .flv
      • .m2ts
      • .mkv
      • .mov
      • .mp4
      • .mpg
      • .mxf
      • .ts
      • .webm
      • .wmv

      The supported audio file types are:

      • .asf
      • .m2ts
      • .m4a
      • .mka
      • .mp3
      • .mp4
      • .mov
      • .oga
      • .ts
      • .wav
      • .wma
      • .wmv
