MCP prompt library
The Design Huddle MCP allows you to use natural language prompts in coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and other MCP clients to work with Design Huddle data and supported actions.
The examples below can be copied and customized with your own Project titles, template names, account names, brands, users, and other details.
TemplatesUse these prompts to find information about templates or create a new template from an existing Project.
- “How many templates do we have by media type?”
- “Which templates have been used to create the most Projects?”
- “Which templates are associated with the Acme Creative brand?”
- “What element classes does the Summer Sale template have?”
- “Publish the Project ‘Summer Campaign’ as a new template called ‘Summer Campaign Template,’ and tell me the template ID when it’s done.”
Use these prompts to find, create, or update Projects.
- “Rename the Project ‘Spring Campaign’ to ‘Spring Campaign – Final’ and tag it ‘finished’.”
- “Create a blank 1080×1080 digital Project for the social team.”
- “How many Projects were created by jordan@example.com?”
Use these prompts to export Projects or templates in different formats.
- “Export the Project ‘Summer Catalog’ as a print-ready PDF with crop marks.”
- “Export the Design Huddle Project titled ‘Community Event Flyer’ as a JPG.”
- “Export the Project ‘Product Launch Graphic’ as a PNG at 300 DPI.”
- “Export the ‘Summer Sale’ template as a JPG so I can preview it.”
- “Export a random video Project as an MP4 at 24fps.”
- “Export just page 2 of the Project ‘Annual Report’ as a PNG.”

- “Export the Project ‘Holiday Campaign’ twice — once as a print PDF and once as a PNG.”
Use these prompts to create accounts, change their status, or find account information.
- “Create an account for Acme Creative with the Lifestyle brand attached.”
- “Move the Acme Creative account to inactive.”
- “Move the Acme Creative account back to active.”
- “Which account is jordan@example.com on, and what’s their role?”
- “Is the Acme Creative account suspended?”
- “Create an account called Northstar Marketing with the Lifestyle brand and the Marketing Team user group, then add jordan@example.com as an Account Owner and send the welcome email.”
Use these prompts to create users or review and update user information.
- “Create a new user with the following details:
- First Name: Jordan
- Last Name: Lee
- Email Address: jordan@example.com
- Role: Designer”
- “Which users are suspended, and on which accounts?”
- “Show me users created in the last month.”
- “Change jordan@example.com to Account Owner.”
You can also request specific changes to an existing Project. Referencing the Project by title is typically more practical than locating and copying its Project ID.
- Replace text: “In the Project ‘Summer Event Flyer,’ update the text box that says ‘Original Headline’ to say ‘Updated Headline.’ Leave all other elements unchanged.”
- Replace an image inside a circle: “In the Project ‘Team Spotlight,’ replace the image inside the circular frame with the attached image
team-photo.jpg. Preserve the circular crop and existing positioning.” - Replace an image inside a zone: “In the Project ‘Game Day Promotion,’ replace the image inside the image zone with the attached image
stadium-photo.jpg. Preserve the zone and its existing settings.” - Move a text box: “In the Project ‘Birthday Invitation,’ move the text box that says ‘Welcome to the party!’ to the bottom-left corner. Keep its text and styling unchanged.”
- Change all text colors: “In the Project ‘Summer Promotion,’ change the text color of every text box to red (
#FF0000). Do not change the text box backgrounds.” - Change the background color: “In the Project ‘Seasonal Announcement,’ change the page background color to yellow (
#FFFF00). Leave all other colors unchanged.” - Change image opacity: “In the Project ‘Product Showcase,’ set all images to
0.5opacity, including images inside masks and image zones.” - Add a hyperlink to text: “In the Project ‘Website Promotion,’ hyperlink the text box that says ‘Visit Our Website’ to
https://example.com/. Keep the visible text and formatting unchanged.” - Rewrite text with AI: “In the Project ‘Welcome Graphic,’ use AI to rewrite the text ‘Welcome, Alex’ as a short, fun greeting. Replace the original text with the AI-generated version while preserving the text box’s styling and position.”
Use reporting prompts to answer questions about Projects, templates, users, accounts, and other activity over a specific period or within a specific group.
- “How many Projects were created in July 2026?”
- “How many templates were created between April 1 and June 30, 2026?”
- “How many users were created in the first quarter of 2026?”
- “How many Projects were approved between May 15 and June 15, 2026?”
- “How many templates are in the Seasonal Campaigns category?”
- “How many Projects have been created in the Acme Creative account?”
- “How many accounts are associated with the Lifestyle brand?”
- “How many Projects created from templates in the Seasonal Campaigns category contain at least one text element?”
For best results, make prompts specific and use recognizable Project titles, template names, account names, and brand names whenever possible.
