# How to Set up Notifications for Approvals

As a System Admin, you are automatically opted into getting notifications for every Approval request sent by a user if they are required. This is also true for all Account Admins within their Account. However if you do not want to receive these emails or want to begin receiving these items, you can turn this on or off by following these steps:

1. Click on your name at the top right corner of the instance
2. Click on **Notifications**
3. Check or Uncheck **Project Approval Requests**
4. Click **Save**
