Why Set Default Locks
Default Locks are a great way to save time when publishing Templates if you have a standardized locking strategy. When Default Locks are set, these settings will be automatically applied to every template published going forward (these will not retroactively be applied to Templates). To ensure that these Locking settings are added to a Template, turn Locking on in your Project and your defaults will be automatically applied. You can override these default settings when publishing a Template within the editor.
How to Set Default Locks
Default Locks are set from the top panel, follow the instructions below.
- Hover over your name on the top right of the screen
- Click on Configure Locking Defaults
- Choose your desired default locks per element
- Save your settings
