How to Remove the Background on Media

Background removal is a powerful editing tool that can be used to remove the background from any image or video that is added to a Project. Media can be added from one of our built in integrations, any external third party integrations, or simply from your desktop. 

To remove a background from an image follow these steps:

1. Select image to remove the background from
2. Click to toggle the Remove Background control on the left menu. 

To remove a background from a video follow these steps: 

1. Select video to remove the background from
2. Click the Remove Background button in the left menu

You will be given the option to cancel the removal in the left menu for videos. Due to the complexity of this process, it is standard for this to take a couple minutes to complete dependent on the size of the file. Max video length that background removal is available for can be set by contacting support@designhuddle.com.

Backgrounds can also be directly removed from the Assets page if the image or video has been added there. 

Background Removal is a part of Design Huddle’s AI Tools, so usage limits are grouped with other AI features that are enabled for the respective Administrator or User. To manage the utilization of AI features effectively, AI usage limits can be established on a per-user basis within a specified timeframe.
