# How to Translate Project Text Using AI

Design Huddle's AI Translation feature allows you to translate text within your Projects into different languages directly from the Editor.

You can translate an entire Project, a specific page, or an individual text box without manually recreating your content.

#### **When to use this**

AI Translation is helpful when you want to:

- Create multilingual marketing materials and designs.
- Localize content for different countries or regions.
- Translate an entire Project or individual pages.
- Translate specific text elements while keeping the rest of the design unchanged.

#### **How to translate an entire Project or specific page**

To translate multiple text elements at once, use the **Translate** option in the left menu.

1. Open the Project you want to translate in the Design Huddle Editor.
2. Click **Translate** in the left menu.
3. Under **Language**, select the language you want to translate your content into.
4. Under **Pages to translate**, choose one of the following: 
     - **All pages:** Translates text across the entire Project.
     - **This page:** Translates text only on the currently selected page.
5. Click **Translate** to initiate the AI translation.
6. Review the translated content and make any necessary adjustments.

This allows you to translate large amounts of content without selecting each text box individually.

#### **How to translate an individual text box**

You can also translate a specific text element without changing the rest of your Project.

1. Open your Project in the Editor.
2. Select the text box you want to translate.
3. Click the **AI** icon in the text editing toolbar.
4. Hover over **Translate** to display the available languages.
5. Select your desired language.
6. Review the AI-generated translation and make any necessary adjustments.

This option is useful when you only need to translate a specific heading, description, or other text element.

#### **How AI Translation Works**

Design Huddle uses artificial intelligence to generate translations based on the language you select.

AI Translation supports multiple languages and can be used for individual text elements, specific pages, or entire Projects.

#### **Best practices**

- **Review translations for accuracy:** AI-generated translations may require adjustments for industry terminology, regional expressions, or brand-specific language.
- **Check text formatting:** Translated text may be longer or shorter than the original. Review spacing, text box dimensions, and positioning after translating.
- **Verify important content:** For customer-facing materials, consider having a native speaker review the translated text before publishing or exporting.

#### **Notes**

- AI Translation changes the text content within your Project, rather than the language of the Editor's interface. For translating the Editors interface, reach out to **support@designhuddle.com**.
- You can translate all pages, the current page, or an individual text box depending on your needs.
- Translation results may vary depending on the language and AI model being used.
