What is grouping
Grouping is a feature that allows you to combine multiple elements into a single entity. This makes it easier to move, resize, and manage the elements collectively.
How to group elements together
- Select the elements you want to group by holding down the Shift key on your keyboard and clicking on each element
- In the left-hand menu, find the Group Objects option
- Toggle the switch to Yes to group the selected element
How to ungroup elements
There are a couple of ways to ungroup elements. Here are two:
- Select the grouped element you wish to ungroup.
- In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on the Ungroup option.
Or
- Select the grouped element you wish to ungroup.
- In the left-hand menu, find the Group Objects option.
- Toggle the switch to No to ungroup the selected elements.
What You Can Do with Grouped Elements
- Move the grouped elements around
- Change the size of the grouped elements
- Align and Arrange the elements
- Change the Transparency of the grouped elements
What You Cannot Do with Grouped Elements
- You cannot lock all of the elements at once because different element types can have different locking settings
- Click on Group Elements option
- Select element to be edited in the panel
- Click Isolation Mode button to bring element to foreground
- Make edits to the element
- Select Preview to check out what the edits will look like OR Done to set the edited element back to its original location
