When creating a project with a custom-shaped background, you can upload a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) or Transparent PNG file. This file will serve as the canvas outline with no background included and will appear as your outline in the Editor.
Below are a few examples of how this can be applied:
- Stickers: Ideal for creating die-cut stickers, custom SVGs and Transparent PNGs allow the sticker's shape to precisely follow the design's outline, eliminating any unnecessary background.
- Vinyl Decals: SVG files facilitate the cutting of vinyl into specific shapes for decals that can be applied to diverse surfaces such as windows, cars, and walls, where no background is preferable.
- Apparel Design: In t-shirt printing or embroidery, SVG files ensure that designs are replicated exactly to shape, with no excess fabric or background.
- Custom Acrylics: SVG files are perfect for items like custom keychains or decorative pieces, cutting the acrylic to match the exact contours of your design.
- Engraving Projects: SVGs are essential in laser engraving for creating precise and clean outlines on materials such as wood, metal, or glass, whether for unique gifts or commercial products.
- Business Cards: For standout business cards, SVG files can be used to craft cards into unique shapes that capture attention.
