How to Control Audio in a Video Project

Audio tracks can be controlled directly in the editor. There are two options available to users and admins. 


Muting: This setting eliminates the sound for any audio added to a scene. To mute the audio on a scene, follow these steps:

  1. Select the video clip you want to mute
  2. Click the Video Settings button in the left menu
  3. Check the Mute box

Fading: Fading is a gradual increase or decrease in the volume of an audio file at the start or end of the track. Follow these steps to fade your audio:

  1. Select the video clip with audio to fade
  2. Click the Edit Audio button
  3. In the right menu check the box for either Fade In or Fade Out
  4. Drag the volume slider to the desired level

OR

  1. Open the right menu
  2. Click the Audio option
  3. Check the box for either Fade In or Fade Out
  4. Drag the volume slider to the desired level

Note: If the video is set as the background, access the audio controls by following these steps:

  1. Click the Background button
  2. Click the Media option
  3. Then adjust the Fade or Mute the audio
