How to Alter Images With AI

Any existing image in the Editor can be altered to your specifications via AI without ever having to leave the Project. Image alteration allows you and your users to start from a preexisting image and alter either the whole image or certain aspects of it. This feature can be locked so only admins have access to it. Image Alteration works on images imported into the Editor, from a stock media gallery, your hosted libraries, or generated via AI.

To alter images follow these steps:

  1. Select the image to be altered
  2. Click the Alter Image with Prompt button in the left menu

There are two separate ways that you can choose to alter the image:

  • Inpainting - This method allows you to precisely select the region you wish to alter. Once selected, provide a detailed description of the alterations you desire and click Generate to apply the changes to the image.
  • Find & Replace - For a more comprehensive image alteration, provide a description of the desired objects to replace and enter descriptively what you want to replace them with. Once the Find and Replace values are added, click Generate to initiate the alteration process.

  • Magic Erase - Use either a paint brush or bounding box to select an area on the image you would like to erase. Select Apply and the selected section of your image will automatically be removed.

Once altered you will be given a few options:

  • Cancel
  • Try Again
  • Alter with Prompt (make additional adjustments)
  • Apply

Image Alteration is a part of Design Huddle’s AI Tools. AI Tools usage is a combination of all AI features enabled in the respective account. To manage usage of AI features effectively, AI usage limits can be established on a per-user basis within a specified timeframe.
