How to add Language Translations

Language translations allow users to view supported Design Huddle interface text in another language. This includes admin controls and editor buttons and does not translate the content within a design itself.

This is helpful when you want users to navigate Design Huddle in their preferred language.

When to use this

Common use cases include:

  • Supporting users in different countries or regions
  • Providing localized admin controls
  • Displaying editor buttons in a user's preferred language
  • Supporting multilingual teams

How it works

Language translations must first be enabled for your account by Design Huddle.

To request this feature, contact support@designhuddle.com and let the team know which language or languages you would like to support.

If Design Huddle already supports the requested language, the team can enable it for your account.

If the language is not currently supported, Design Huddle will provide a translation spreadsheet for your team to complete. Once the translated text is returned and configured, the language can be made available in your account.

Please note that this setting only changes supported interface text, such as admin controls and editor buttons. It does not automatically translate text, images, or other content within designs.

How to select a language for a user

Once language translations have been enabled, you can assign a language to an account user.

  1. Go to Admin.
  2. Select Account Users from the left menu.
  3. Open the account user you want to update.
  4. Locate the Language field.
  5. Select the appropriate language from the dropdown.
  6. Save the user changes.

Once selected, supported admin controls and editor buttons will display in the assigned language for that user.
