Best Practices For Leveraging The Color Picker

The Color Picker allows you to add any desired colors to elements on a Project. It fully supports both RGB and CMYK/SPOT colors. Users can also make any element transparent on the canvas using the color picker.

All colors that are being used on a project are noted under the Document Colors section in the right menu.

Both solid and gradient colors can be added from the color picker as well. You can give users the ability to adjust these or lock them if necessary.

If Branding is turned on you will have the option to select from the color palettes specifically created for the assigned Brand. Here are the design elements where you can use the Color Picker:

  • Text - Select text and click the Fill option in the left menu and the Color Picker will open.
  • Images - Select an image and click the Color Overlay option and the Color Picker will open. Here you can add a tint to your images at a desired opacity.
  • Shapes - Select the shape and click the Fill option in the left menu and the Color Picker will open.
  • Background -Click the Background button, select Color and the Color Picker will open.
